About Me
I’m a director, producer, creator, and freelance creative consultant with over 15 years of professional experience in London — now happily back in the North East, continuing to craft meaningful, imaginative work rooted in connection and collaboration.
My career has taken me all over the world, spanning theatre, festivals, immersive experiences, and large-scale public events. At the heart of everything I do is a passion for storytelling that forms deep, lasting connections with audiences. I love creating experiences that aren’t just watched but felt — and, wherever possible, shaped collaboratively with the people who take part in them.
Most recently, I was the Creative Director of the Windmill Theatre in London’s West End, where I had the rare opportunity to set up the venue from the ground up — commissioning, directing, and producing new shows that blended multimedia, live performance, and a love of both lo-fi grit and high-tech spectacle. That project only deepened my drive to push creative boundaries and blur the lines between audience and performer.
Now, I work freelance across festivals and public events, leading on creative direction, programming, and the development of immersive and engaging audience experiences. I’m currently collaborating with Newcastle City Council to deliver large-scale outdoor events that celebrate place, people, and imagination.
Whether I’m directing experimental theatre, designing immersive spaces, or helping shape cultural strategy, I bring curiosity, adaptability, and a love of both the big picture and the tiniest details.
Let’s make something remarkable.
