Hadrian Square 

Part of Newcastle City Council’s High Streets East initiative, Hadrian Square is a long-term creative project reimagining Hadrian Square and the surrounding areas in Byker — a neighbourhood too often defined by its reputation. As creative producer I’ve delivered 40 original events so far, including an aerial crane show, a metro carriage ball pool, a dance show in a swimming pool, a winter circus, light parades, a market run entirely by puppet monsters and giant colouring-in sculptures. I love the creative freedom of this project and am expanding it in 2025/2026  — continuing to transform everyday spaces into playful, surprising, and meaningful experiences for the local community.
